It’s a cold, rainy day here in San Antonio and I thank God for the much-needed moisture.
Before work, I used my new, handy-dandy apple peeler/corer/slicer (who knew such a marvel existed?) to prep six pounds of apples to make apple butter in my slow cooker aka crock pot. I plan to give jars to family and friends this week.
My home is already filled with the aroma of apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. I love it! To me, nothing says it’s almost Thanksgiving better than making anything with apples.
